Chocolate Cake

Amy's Dad, Andy, wears a t-shirt that says, ''I would give up eating chocolate but I am no quitter.'' Andy grew up eating chocolate cake from his father's bakery, and he loves the new chocolate cake from Amy's Kitchen. He describes this cake as: Rich…Moist...Light...Chocolately...Irresistible!

Gluten Free Chocolate Cake

Amy's gluten free, dairy free chocolate cake was born after many different recipes - and the final result is light, tender, moist, and so delicious that everyone will enjoy it even if they aren't gluten intolerant.

Lemon Poppyseed Cake

This cake has a refreshing delicate lemony flavor, enhanced by a sprinkling of poppy seeds throughout that add texture and a unique taste of their own.

Orange Cake

Typically, Amy would rather have a slice of cheese pizza than dessert, but she can't resist Amy's Orange Cake. When she was in high school, Amy would have a piece (made by Susan, our chef Fred's sister) in her lunch every day. Amy's Orange Cake is moist, light and delicious with the sweet taste of orange.

Cake Comparison
When you bake a cake at home, you can recognize all of the ingredients… flour, sugar, baking soda, etc. At Amy’s Kitchen, we feel that if you are going to buy a cake, it should have those same recognizable ingredients. Take a look at the ingredients in our Orange Cake; flour, evaporated cane juice (that’s a less refined form of sugar), orange juice, water, expeller press safflower oil, organic apple cider vinegar, sea salt and organic orange essential oil.

Now, take a look at the ingredient panel on that well known frozen pound cake below (click for larger version). We never put “partially hydrogenated anything” in your food. And, we don’t use “natural flavor” or diglycerides in our cake and we’re guessing you don’t either.

Amy’s cakes contain 0 saturated fat, no cholesterol and less sodium than the other cake. Then there are the calories. Using their serving size (which would equal about 4.5 servings of our cake), Amy’s cakes contain 25% fewer calories! You can still top our cake with some fresh berries and come out ahead.

We’re not saying that Amy’s cakes are “health food”, but if you are going to indulge, read the labels and enjoy knowing that our cakes are as close as you can get to home made.

MailDear Amy,
Just tried your poppy seed cake for the first time-yummy. I think the chocolate cake is going to have some competition. Do you have any future plans for other flavors in your cakes?
