Letters from happy Amy’s customers
Hello,
We REALLY like your products!
Thank you so much for them especially for your vegetarian meatloaf
dinner AND your tofu scramble with hash browns and veggies. Also, your
soups and everything are also great. We are vegetarian already
(Help
the animals, yes!) and the products that are as VEGAN (non-dairy) as
possible are the ones we have started looking for at our local store
the
most. We are attempting to eliminate cheese from our diet a little
at a
time. We have just started getting the soy cheese pizza now too. Thank
you for all of your work.
From, Garie
Dear Amy,
FINALLY! Thank you so much for finally making a vegan cheese pizza!
I've been waiting a decade for a vegan cheese pizza to be available
at
grocery stores. I think some cheese-craving vegans probably even
gave up veganism due to their overpowering cravings. This is
something vegans have been craving and I'm sure if word gets out it
will be a huge seller.
Keep up the good work,
Paul
Dear Amy,
I love, love, love all your vegan products and recommend them to all
of
my family and friends. Keep up the great work.
From Vivian
Dear Amy,
Thank you for clearly labeling your vegan items at the beginning of
the
ingredients list. Also, thank you for recognizing that honey is not
vegan. It makes grocery shopping a lot less reading intensive.
From Wes
Hi there,
I just wanted to write to say thank you so much for your delicious
foods. As a vegan it is so difficult to find quick and easy meals.
My
family isn't vegan so preparing 2 meals is often in order. With Amy's
meals I can always have something healthy, delicious and filling even
if
I'm in a hurry! Thanks so much. Rachel

top-selling brand of natural and organic convenience foods, is pleased
to debut a new line of kids meals. The two new meals—Kids Meals
Mac n’ Cheese and Kids Meals Baked Ziti—are expected to
hit supermarkets nationwide in June. Both are kid-tested favorites
that all children will enjoy, and one is made with no dairy or gluten
ingredients, for children with special dietary needs in mind.
Amy’s decided to explore the new line after receiving a letter
from a mother asking if Amy’s would please make special meals
for children. In response to her letter and many similar requests,
Amy’s is offering “Amy’s Kids Meals,” made
with special “kid appeal” in child-sized portions. Of course,
the ingredients are natural and organic and no meat, fish, poultry,
eggs or peanuts are used.
Kids
Meals Mac n’ Cheese
(8.0 ounces, suggested retail price: $4.29) Accompanying the macaroni
and cheese is a just-right portion of nutritious organic broccoli with
cheese and a flavorful slice of focaccia bread. And for dessert, there
are two delicious “snacks” filled with honey-sweetened
organic apples. Free tattoo inside, too! How fun is that?
Kids Meals Baked Ziti

Kids Meals

letter many similar requests, Amy’s is offering “Amy’s

NEW
Kids Meals Mac n’ Cheese (8.0 ounces, suggested retail price: $4.29)
Accompanying the macaroni and cheese is a just-right portion of nutritious
organic broccoli with cheese and a flavorful slice of focaccia bread.
And for dessert, there are two delicious “snacks” filled

NEW Kids Meals Baked Ziti (8.0 ounces, suggested retail price: $4.29)
Some kids, cannot tolerate gluten or dairy. For them, Amy’s Kitchen
created the “Baked Ziti Kids Meal” made with light tender
organic rice noodles topped with a dairy free cheeze and Amy’s
pasta sauce. To complete the meal there’s broccoli & sauce,

NEW
Pizza Margherita (11.0 ounces, suggested retail price: $5.99)
Amy’s Kitchen’s newest pizza is based on the original Pizza
Napoletana. The handstretched crust is thinner than the usual crust,
the simple sauce made from organic tomatoes, and best of all is the
topping, fresh mozzarella cheese sprinkled with Parmesan and basil.
NEW Tortilla Casserole Bowl (9.5 ounces, suggested retail price: $4.29)
This casserole is based on a popular Mexican dish called Chilaquiles. One
of Amy’s chefs (whose family had owned a Mexican restaurant in
San Francisco) was familiar with the dish and adapted it to suit Amy’s
standards...organic ingredients, fewer “hot” spices, and
less fat. The result is delicious and might remind you of a bowl of “nachos” made
with organic baked corn chips and melted cheddar and jack cheeses.
On the side are delicately seasoned slow-cooked black beans, making
this gluten free
meal in a bowl thoroughly satisfying. Gluten free.
NEW
Bistro Burger (10.0 ounces, suggested retail price: $4.29)
A good veggie burger is hard to find. And finding one that is gluten
free and contains no dairy is even harder to do. But when you try Amy’s
Bistro Burger, you’ll say “Eureka…I found it.” That’s
because this veggie burger, made with organic brown rice, pinto beans,
an assortment of organic vegetables, plenty of mushrooms and a touch
of barbeque sauce to give it that just off the grill flavor, is truly
delicious. Gluten free.
NEW Quarter Pound Burger (16.0 ounces, suggested retail price: $5.49)
Those who prefer not to eat meat will find that Amy’s Quarter
Pound Veggie Burger is just the thing to satisfy even the most avid
burger fan. Amy’s Quarter Pound Veggie Burger combines fresh
organic grain and vegetables with protein-rich soybeans and a hint
of barbeque sauce to create a firm, great tasting burger that’s
perfect for barbequing or grilling. A delicious substantial meal that
will satisfy the heartiest of eaters.
Amy’s
Southern Meal (10.0 ounces, suggested retail price: $4.29)
Down-home southern cooking at its best! The folks at Amy’s created
this traditional meal with the help of a friend from Louisiana…mashed
sweet potatoes, light cornbread with kernels of sweet corn and bits
of pimento topped with a flavorful sauce and tender pinto beans, and
collard and swiss chard “greens.”

one person to eat. That’s why the folks at Amy’s have created
Amy’s individual sized Personal Pizzas which have the same great

October 2006 Get Ready for Winter with Two
New Soups
from Amy’s Comforting and Warming Soups with an International
Twist
Santa Rosa, California - Amy's Kitchen, the nation's
top-selling brand of natural and organic convenience foods, has introduced
two new internationally-inspired soups, just in time to chase away
the winter chills. Thai Coconut and Tuscan Bean and Rice are in distribution
and available nationwide at natural food stores and supermarkets.
Amy’s
Thai Coconut Soup (14.1 ounces, suggested retail price:
$2.29)
Amy’s version of the traditional “Thom Kha Phak”,
so popular in Thai restaurants, combines sweet, smooth coconut milk
with gently warming Thai spices, organic tofu, lemongrass, shiitake
mushrooms, sweet potatoes and other organic vegetables. This delicate,
flavorful soup is a fine introduction to Thai cuisine.
Amy’s
Tuscan Bean and RiceSoup (14.1 ounces,
suggested retail price: $2.29) This delicious soup is almost a stew,
substantial and nourishing like the pranzo (midday meal)
eaten in Tuscany, Italy. Organic barlotti beans, for which that region
is noted, brown rice, and fresh tasting organic vegetables make it
a thoroughly satisfying meal. Buon Appetito!
