Amy's Kitchen to Preview Six New Products at Expo
West
Plus, Company will Serve Samples of Eleven Recently Released
Products
Santa Rosa, California - Amy's Kitchen, the nation's top-selling brand of natural and organic, convenience foods, will both preview a selection of the company's upcoming new items and showcase its most recently released products, at the Natural Products Expo West show, March 5 – 7, 2004, in Anaheim, CA. Amy's will preview and serve samples of the following delicious new products. These are estimated to be ready for distribution by the summer of 2004:
Two New Pizzas
These two new varieties are the latest additions to the popular line of Amy's
Pizzas, which also include: Spinach Pizza, Cheese Pizza, Roasted Vegetable
Pizza, Pesto Pizza, Soy Cheeze Pizza, Mushroom & Olive Pizza, Veggie
Combo Pizza and Rice Crust Cheese Pizza.
3 Cheese Pizza with Cornmeal Crust (14.5 ounces, suggested retail price: $6.59) This new “restaurant style” gourmet variety pairs a flavorful cornmeal crust layered with fresh diced organic tomatoes and three cheeses: mozzarella, shredded parmesan and goat cheese. Great as a meal, or cut in narrow slices and serve as an hors d'oeuvre.
Cheese & Pesto Pizza with Whole Wheat Crust (14.5 ounces, suggested retail price: $6.59) A variation of our classic cheese pizza with a nutritious whole-wheat crust topped with pesto and a fresh tasting tomato sauce.
A New Indian Meal
This new product is an addition to Amy's popular Indian meals: Indian Mattar Paneer and Indian Palak Paneer.
Samosa Wraps (10 ounces, suggested retail price: $3.79) Two delicious
Indian style wraps filled with a blend of lightly spiced organic
potatoes, peas and tofu. A satisfying hand held meal.
New Breakfast Meals
These two new breakfast specialties from Amy's offer a great way to start the day.
Tofu Scramble Breakfast (9 ounces, suggested retail price: $3.79) A generous portion of tofu scrambled with organic vegetables and hash browned potatoes on the side make up this new breakfast meal.
Tofu Rancheros Breakfast (9 ounces, suggested retail
price $3.79) Organic tofu scrambled with vegetables and topped with
salsa and grated cheddar cheese covers a small tortilla with refried
black beans on the side.
A New Bowl
This new bowl is an addition to Amy's line of ready-quick, delicious bowls which includes: Brown Rice & Vegetables, Stuffed Pasta Shells, Santa Fe Enchilada, Teriyaki, Country Cheddar, Pesto Tortellini and Mexican Casserole.
Brown Rice Bowl with Black-eyed Peas & Veggies (9 ounces, suggested retail price: $3.79) A flavorful combination of organic brown rice, organic broccoli and carrots in a tasty ginger sauce with black-eyed peas
The following newly introduced products will also be featured at Amy's booth during the show. Tasting of these new products will be offered. These products are now available in markets across the US.
Amy's Organic “Light in Sodium” Soups (14.1 – 14.5 ounces, suggested retail price: $1.99) Special versions of three of Amy's most popular soups, Organic Butternut Squash, Organic Cream of Tomato and Organic Lentil Vegetable. Made with all the goodness and flavor of Amy's regular soups, with 50% less sodium.
Amy's Organic Refried Beans: (15.4 ounces, suggested retail price: $1.89) A new line of refried beans for all your Mexican dishes. Available in three flavors: Organic Traditional Refried Beans, Organic Refried Beans with Green Chiles and Organic Refried Black Beans.
Mexican Casserole Bowl (9.5 ounces, suggested retail price: $3.79) Organic black beans, sweet corn and white corn masa topped with cheese and enchilada sauce. A delicious addition to the popular line of Amy's Bowls: Brown Rice & Vegetables, Stuffed Pasta Shells, Santa Fe Enchilada, Teriyaki, Country Cheddar and Pesto Tortellini.
Amy's Palak Paneer (10 ounces, suggested retail price: $3.79). Another new Indian meal, following the success of Amy's Indian Mattar Paneer. Palak Paneer combines creamed spinach and paneer (a fresh, pressed whole milk cheese) and is accompanied by basmati rice and Rajmah Dal (made from organic kidney beans). Palak Paneer is gluten free.
Amy's Snacks (6 ounces, suggested retail price: $3.19) These two new bite sized snacks are great for any occasion. Amy's Nacho Snacks are filled with layers of cheddar and jack cheeses, pinto beans, olives and a just the right amount of jalapeño peppers baked in a light tender crust. Amy's Spinach Pizza Snacks are a delicious blend of mozzarella cheese, organic spinach and feta cheese, all wrapped up in a bite size whole-wheat pizza crust. There are about 10-12 pieces per box. Adds to the existing line of Amy's Snacks: Amy's Spinach Feta Snacks and Amy's Cheese Pizza Snacks.
Amy's Rice Crust Cheese Pizza (12 ounces, suggested retail price: $6.59) In their quest to create a wheat-free pizza, Amy's came up with this tasty version made with a light, tender rice flour crust and topped it with their special Italian sauce and mozzarella cheese. Each pizza serves three and bakes up in a traditional oven in less than 15 minutes. Perfect for people who are gluten intolerant.
Amy's Kitchen uses certified organic ingredients, including vegetables, grains and fruits grown without pesticides. Fats are used sparingly and selectively; dairy products are hormone-free. No dishes contain meat, fish, poultry or eggs. Amy's products do not contain any GMOs, hydrogenated oils or trans fats.
