The Tofu Scramble is available in the frozen foods section of most Whole Foods, Wild Oats and other natural foods stores with a suggested retail price of $1.99.
The idea for this healthy, super convenient breakfast comes from Amy’s grandma who enjoys scrambled tofu and toast for breakfast every morning. The chefs at Amy’s Kitchen added golden tumeric and bits of flavorful sautéed organic vegetables including onions, broccoli, tomatoes, shiitake mushrooms and bell peppers to tofu. Then they wrapped it up in an easy to hold and eat wheat crust – creating Amy’s latest healthy pocket sandwich.
The Tofu Scramble in a Pocket Sandwich is the eighth new flavor in Amy’s line of pocket sandwiches, which also includes: Vegetarian Pizza in a Pocket Sandwich, Spinach Feta in a Pocket Sandwich, Cheese Pizza in a Pocket Sandwich, Soy Cheeze Pizza in a Pocket Sandwich, Roasted Vegetables in a Pocket Sandwich, Broccoli & Cheese in a Pocket Sandwich, and Vegetable Pie in a Pocket Sandwich.
