Amy's Kitchen Medford Update!

Amy's Kitchen: Medford Construction

Thanks to you, Amy’s has outgrown its current production facility and we need to expand. With that in mind, we have been building a new production facility up in Medford, Oregon.
Medford is located just north of the California border. Once the plant is complete, Amy’s will be able to meet the growing demands of hungry stomachs everywhere. The photo above speaks for itself as to how far the plant project has progressed.  The installation of the building footings is complete and the steel framing assembly is well under way.  Behind the scenes many people at Amy’s have been working on the new equipment evaluations and selection, plant equipment layouts and logistics for moving people, materials and finished goods into and out of our new facility.  Orders are being placed for refrigeration equipment, freezers, ovens, conveyors and many other key pieces of plant equipment as well.

If weather continues to cooperate and construction and installation plans continue to stay on track, Amy’s will begin making pizza at the new Medford Plant in November 2006.  Other meals will follow in January 2007. Our corporate headquarters as well as our two plants in Santa Rosa will continue to produce the rest of delicious Amy’s meals.

Amy's Organic Chunky Tomato Bisque Soup
By Supermarket Guru

Texas BurgerAs organic products continue to become more and more popular with today’s American shopper, companies like Amy’s are keeping up with the trend. Not only is this tasty soup USDA certified organic, but you also notice that where soups tend to be high in sodium, this one contains about half that of most brands. (Amy’s tomato soup contains 340mg of sodium per serving, other supermarket brands can contain as much as 760mg per serving.)
