Amy’s Kitchen Opens On-Site Employee Health Clinic
WHITE CITY, Ore. -- A Southern Oregon employer has decided to bring the doctor's office to it's employee's and their families.
For employees at the Amy's Manufacturing Facility, quality health care is now just a few steps away. With a cut of a ribbon, owners and employees officially welcomed Amy's Family Health Center, an on site clinic for crew members.

The center opened January 3rd and offers same-day appointments at a convenient location. For some, the concept of an on-site clinic is new, but for others the entire medical care experience is unfamiliar.
Some of the services provided include annual physicals and injury treatments. All at a cost of a 5-dollar co pay. The clinic also has bilingual staff at the center.
Patients are also offered extended appointments to discuss long-range health and wellness strategies. Owners say this health care facility is set to benefit approximately 700 employees at their White City location.

Multiple Factors
Multiple Factors Lead to Delay of Amy’s Greenville, SC, Plant Retrofit and Operations
Petaluma, California - Amy’s Kitchen, the nation's top-selling brand of natural and organic convenience foods, announced today that the company will delay the opening of a manufacturing facility in Greenville, South Carolina for a few years.
Earlier this year, Amy’s acquired the former Sara Lee plant. Since then, Amy’s has been engaged in the complex process of developing an engineering and construction plan to retrofit the facility to meet its unique manufacturing needs. Current plans estimate at least an additional year of construction would be required to complete the project.
Concurrent with this planning stage, Amy’s sales and manufacturing capacity needs have rapidly grown, reaching a critical point. A review of available remedies has resulted in the decision to reconfigure existing operations to more quickly provide the capacity to meet immediate needs.
“Right now, in order to keep pace and be fiscally responsible to all of our stakeholders, we are forced to take immediate action and use resources we have at hand for expanding our capacity. This means we urgently need to turn our attention to problem solving with existing and fully operational plants in Oregon and California,” said Mark Rudolph, Amy’s Kitchen’s CFO.
“We continue to be thankful to Governor Nikki Haley and all the individuals in local government who have been extremely welcoming and supportive of our work here. We are grateful to our loyal, hard-working, terrific teams of employees and consultants.” said Rudolph. “We’ll know more about how we will proceed in coming months and be better able to discuss our progress and plans at that time.”

Dear Amy, Having grown up in a very Italian neighborhood in New York, I must tell you that your Family Marinara Tomato Sauce is the only bottled sauce that I have ever had that equals the flavors of my childhood.
Your Comments
I tried your cheese enchiladas for the first time a month ago in an effort to clean up my atrocious eating habits and am now officially hooked on all things Amys! The vegetable lasagna is fabulous and it is a treat to be able to read a label and recognize every single ingredient. I have to admit that I am a card carrying carnivore, but thanks to your wonderful products I am slowly but surely changing my ways. My 8 year old son is crazy about the soy mac n cheez, and this is a kid who is very picky. I thank you and my body thanks you. It is worth the drive across town to get to your products.
