Coffee - Good or Evil?

Caffeine can
* keep you up for an extra hour of fun (or
studying), but you might crash harder once it wears
off.
* possibly cure a headache (the secret ingredient
in Excedrin is caffeine).
* dehydrate you by making you unrinate more (it's
a diuretic).
* up your metabolism - but not enough to burn significantly
more calories.
Caffeine can't
* make you lose weight
* sober you up (you'll be more awake, but you'll still
be drunk)
The bottom line?
Keep it to one cup or (can of soda) a day and you'll
be fine.
