Our Guide to Eating Plant-Based with Ease

Here at Amy’s, our main purpose is to make it easy and enjoyable for everyone to eat well. We love nothing more than feeding our big family with delicious and flavorful meals that suit everyone’s needs, including our vegan family members!

We recognize that eating plant based can oftentimes come with its own set of challenges. That’s where we come in to help! For #Veganuary, we’ve gathered our top tips on how to adopt a plant based diet with ease while, of course, incorporating your favorite Amy’s meals :).

Tip #1: Layer on the Veggies

Living plant-powered means that veggies are your new BFF. There’s always a way to incorporate more nutrient-dense vegetables into your meals to leave you full and satisfied. That’s why we love easy dishes, like this chili nourish bowl. Start with a base of your favorite grain or rice, then layer on some Amy’s chili, roasted veggies of your choice and an avocado for healthy fats. Before you know it, you’ve got the perfect all-in-one meal in a bowl!

Tip #2: Keep your Freezer and Pantry Well-Stocked

We’ve all had those busy days  – when you’re tired and aren’t feeling inspired by what’s in the fridge. That’s when you can rely on your friends at Amy’s to come to the rescue! Keep your pantry and freezer stocked with our flavorful, plant based meals that are ready in minutes, like our tasty soups, wraps and burritos!

Tip #3: Stay Rooted in Community

We’re always better together, which is why you’re going to need people to cheer you on in your plant based journey. We recommend following some of our favorite vegan pages, like THRIVE Magazine, Veg News, Vegan Community and Plant Based News, to stay up-to-date on the latest vegan news and gather helpful resources.

Tip #4: Enjoy the Journey!

Going plant based not only makes our planet happy but can also bring you some joy! Let your journey be full of excitement as you lean in to trying new flavors from meals around the globe and experiment with recipes that feed both your body and soul.

If you’re looking for some new plant based recipes to try, we’ve got you covered! Head to our website in the #linkinbio for a plethora of tasty vegan dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
