Amy's Newsletter

Dear friends,
Our backyard garden is blooming! The roses are so fragrant and we are having the first lettuce greens of the season in our dinner salad Stormytonight.

As I write this I am looking outside at the spot in the garden where our dog, Stormy, spent her last days this past January. The birds flocked around her in her stillness. One evening as I was falling asleep she nudged me gently on my hand. A few minutes later Andy woke me and said "she is leaving us now". I have coped with the pain of her loss by being grateful for having had the privilege of knowing her and for having her in our life. She was a part of our family and our company. When she would accompany us to work she would walk around on her own and greet each person, and you would hear a chorus of happy responses everywhere. Please read the beautiful words that Andy wrote and recited when we buried her.

Diving into work also helps with the healing. So, the good things that are happening at Amy's cheers us up. There are new, yummy foods. We have a winner for our slogan contest, and we are finalizing the lease of a plant in the United Kingdom.
Lots of people still haven't tried Amy's so please continue to spread the word. Thank you!!

Letters We Love

Hi, I am new to Amy's Kitchen.  So far I've tried the Organic Black Bean Veggie Soup and the Roasted Veggie Pizza.  They are excellent.  I am not a big fan of heat and serve foods..we cook from scratch. And eating out can be expensive and unhealthy most times. But Amy's Kitchen is the exception. With Amy's, we get a break from cooking every once and a while..and it's good for us too. Looking forward to trying new items!
Thanks, Steve
