Letter from Bryan Deckert - December 5th 2004

Email!Subject: thank-you

A little over 2 years ago my wife and I took jobs at a luxury resort far far removed from the real world. We are in the Big Bend region of Texas; feet from theRio Grande River and Mexico. Spending my life in larger progressive towns we always took for granted that good tasty and healthy foods were usually walking distance from our house. Now shopping means hours of round trip, often with an overnight stay in a hotel and a movie. We load up the car and travel with 2 or 3 large coolers. Before we moved here I was unaware of your product. Since we have discovered you, you have been a true savior and I often kid my wife that I may just leave her for this Amy. Thank you for your commitment to such a fine and healthy product. You have made our lives better and every time I see a new product available that I haven't tried I am amazed that once again you have done it.

When we do elect to re-enter society there will be a time of adjustment, like street lights, stop lights and sirens. I will also carry from the desert a few things that I will subscribe to and preach. One is satellite everything the others is Amy's.

Email!Subject: YUM!

While I'm not vegetarian I am considering converting.  I have tried many products and yours are the best!  The great thing about what you do is that you don't try to put "meat like" stuff in your product.  You instead focus on quality and keep it simple. Thanks.

Email!Subject: Thank you!

When my picky 3 year old won't eat anything (other than apple slices or frozen blueberries or anything coated in sugar), I pull out a can of your Amy's KitchenNo Chicken Noodle Soup. He loves it, always cold, even for breakfast.

Today I found myself smack in the middle of what would be a great Amy's commercial. My oldest pulled out a can and "introduced" it to my 10 month old. We opened it while sitting on the kitchen floor, poured two bowls, and both boys had a nutritious breakfast, even the baby, who until now has not been convinced the merit of anything other than plain toast.

Thank you.
Jennifer

PS- While I skip the cold soup, I sure love your new skillet meals.

Email!Subject: Thank you!
Dear Amy,

Thank you for creating so many tasty and healthy meals! I have been purchasing your products for 3 years now and am so pleased with every bite I take.

I am a stay at home mother with a toddler. Each day at lunchtime, I am thrilled to be able to open the freezer and within 5 minutes have a delicious and healthy meal on the table to eat. If I didn't have Amy's convenient meals, my diet would be much less nutritous.

I continue to be amazed at how flavorful your products are! I often serve the stuffed pasta shells to guests - you are right when you say on the box that they are good enough for company.

Thank you for creating an absolutely magnificent product. I look forward to trying your new creations in the future!

With many thanks,
Allison Finch

Email!Subject: I Love Amy's Kitchen!!

Dear Amy's kitchen,

I just had to write to thank you for creating such fantastic wholesome meals. I am a social worker in NYC, I work long hours and am Amy's Kitchensometimes too exhausted to cook when I get home OR I don't have the time to get out and buy lunch during work! I am so thankful that I have your delicious frozen line to keep me going. I feel good and full after these frozen dishes, unlike the other frozen stuff out there! I appreciate the organic, the meatless and even though I love cheese I even appreciate the soy cheez macaroni! Right now I am trying the meatless meatloaf and I love how it comes with peas and mashed potato. Keep up the great work, I don't think there is one product of yours that I don't like.

Thanks !

Email!Subject: Your tomato soup and my cat

Dear folks at Amy's,

Like a lot of people, I really enjoy your food - it's tasty and healthy, which is a great combination. But the reason I'm writing is actually not to tell you that I like your food - it's to tell you that my cat likes your food too. In fact, specifically, my cat loves your tomato soup.

Amy's KitchenMy cat does not, generally speaking, eat tomato soup. He is also completely uninterested in tomatoes in any other form. But when I open a can of Amy's cream of tomato soup...that's when he gets interested! (I have on occasion had other brands of tomato soup, and he's never been interested in any of them in the least - he looks at me like I'm crazy if I offer him any other kind of tomato soup. Since your soup is my favorite, too, it works out nicely for both of us!) Ever since I first discovered he liked tomato soup (which was an accidental discovery, as I'm not usually in the habit of feeding random people food to my cat!), he and I share our Amy's tomato soup. I give him six or seven spoonfuls on his own little plate, and I get the rest. He eats it with gusto, every time. (I even wrote about it on my webpage - http://www.noaura.com/catsagain.html) My mom shares tuna with her cats; me, I share tomato soup!

So, there you go. It's not just people who recognize the quality of your food. And I figure if even a cat loves your tomato soup, you're really onto something good!

Sincerely,

Miriam (and Tista, the cat)

Email!Subject: First Timer

Dear Amy,  Down here in South Louisiana, we just finished with 3 Hurricanes....and of course, the required regimen is to go out and get "Hurricane Supplies."   Soup is the number one item as it can be heated over a propane or barbeque grill that most of us have.  We rush to the store and pick up whatever we can find, since it's not the time to be picky.

Amy's KitchenIn our rush, we picked up a can of Amy's Chunky Tomato Bisque soup along with a bunch of others......our first foray into YOUR pantry.

Now that the hurricanes are past, we "steel" ourselves to now EAT all of those supplies.....a daunting task!

Well, today I opened up the Chunky Tomato Bisque and got the surprise of my life!   Excellent and smooth and rich!!  It made a "mini-gourmet" lunch. I know now I'll have to find more of your stuff since this is probably the harbinger of finer dining.

Thanks so much for cooking so well,

Email!Subject: Indian Cuisine Dishes - Superb

Dear Amy's Kitchen - I am not of indian descent but I was introduced to indian food last year by a real estate client I was helping to find a home.  Of course, I feel in love with the cuisine which surprised me.  When I found your products for the Indian Amy's Kitchencuisine in the store I had to try them.  I know that I cannot come up with the spices and ingredients to make them myself and I am the only lover of Indian food in my family.  They were delicious.  I would like to see Lowe's foods in South Charlotte and Harris Teeter and Winn Dixie carry these prepared dishes.  I was delighted to try them.  They are superb.  Congratulations.  Indian food is healthy and delicious.

My husband and I continue to try each of your delicious soups, but, the butternut squash is outstanding! It would be a delicacy in any gourmet restaurant. Thank you for your commitment to excellence.

Email!Subject: You saved me!

Dear Amy,
When I was pregnant, I had the absolutely awful morning sickness which virtually lasted the entire 9 months. I was also working full time, which made feeling sick all the more challenging. I never had energy to cook, Rather than experiencing all the funny food cravings, which so many pregnant women love to tell stories about, I had one food aversion after another. I couldn't eat dairy products or meat, so I essentially became a vegan during pregnancy.

I wanted to tell you that I thrived on your bean burritos, non-dairy enchiladas, and vegan pot-pies. When I was so worried about not eating correctly for my baby, I at least knew that I was eating food with healthy ingredients, which set my mind at ease. Thank you for making such healthy products.

I'm happy to say that I am now a mom with a beautiful baby girl. Now I eat all the time because I am nursing. And I still find your food to the best nutritious meals around when my hands are too full during the day to cook!

All the best,

SaraAdler

We didn’t set out to become the nation’s leading natural frozen food brand. All we wanted to do was create a business that would allow us to earn a living by providing convenient and tasty natural vegetarian meals for people like ourselves, who appreciated good food, but were often too busy to cook "from scratch".
