Serves 12 hats Easy

Directions

  1. Open the chocolate sandwich cookies and remove the cream filling. We’re only using the halves with no cream inside.
  2. Melt two Amy’s Dreamy candy bars in the microwave for 15 seconds. (I used two candy bars to make six hats). Stir the melted candy bars until they start to turn into a moldable consistency.
  3. Roll about a sixth of the melted chocolate into a ball. If you’re having trouble removing all the cream from the cookies, use the melted mixture to pick up the remaining cream (sort of like Silly Putt!y).
  4. Roll the candy bar putty into a ball and shape into a cone. Press the cone onto a cookie half. Using your fingers, mold the melted chocolate into a hat shape. (I prefer the slouchy hat tip, but you can make them pointy if you'd like.)
  5. Mold one hat and place in the freezer for 5-10 minutes while you make the next hat. You'll want to place each hat in the freezer immediately after molding so they can keep their shape. After they've all chilled, you can decorate them with vegan star sprinkles!

Pro tip

To make this recipe gluten free, use gluten free sandwich cookies. They will stay good for a week in the fridge.
